In the Conversations series, quiet shapes are slowly repeating and slowly changing. These sculptural wall hangings reference the silent and impenetrable dialogue within oneself and with others.

Fabric artist Alice Philips uses a variety of imported raw wools which are selected for their felting characteristics, texture, lustre and wearability.  They are hand dyed to provide a wide palette range of colours, and are then hand felted by layering and building up colour and texture to realize the intended design.
