Vancouver artist Kirsten Chursinoff creates original textile art by manipulating fabrics and “drawing” with threads. She studied Textile Art at Capilano College, North Vancouver. She is the recipient of Vancouver Foundation's Visual Arts Development Award in 2006 and has exhibited in Vancouver, as well as in a group show at the Canadian Embassy in Japan. One of her forthcoming shows will be at the Quilt and Textile Museum in La Conner, WA, USA. Her articles have appeared in Quilting Arts Magazine. She also lectures and teaches workshops.
